Description
Hi All, and welcome to the continuation of the thinning out of my boy’s stuff. I’ve had a little more time available this week so I have been able to select a few of the more choice cuts in the collection for your consideration. The following few albums are up for 10 day’s this time around, and are due to finish Sun 31 Jul. For your consideration we have:

Issue: Original 1969 issue on the fab BLUE HORIZON Label
Vinyl Condition visual: The vinyl grades as VG+ and very nearly EX; the vinyl retains much of its gloss and deep sheen and is very clean. There is the minimum of handling marks and a few very light surface scratches, mostly of the type associated with removing the record from the sleeve and not deep ugly ones for needle damage etc.
Vinyl Condition Playback: The vinyl grades as EX; Almost but not quite silent run in, just one or two very minor and low level clicks on the first few revolutions, and possibly once or twice thereafter, aside from this it’s just music delivered superbly. The vinyl sits perfectly flat on the turntable.
Label Condition: Ex; look at the pics, no damage, writing or unwanted blemishes at all.
Cover Front: The front cover Grades as EX- ; the laminated front is clean and undamaged and has retained its shape. The central image is clear. The lamination is excellent, however, there is some very light and mild laminate creasing in places, mostly but not exclusively restricted to the spine side. All edges are secure. An excellent example of this sleeve.
Cover Back: VG+; the unlaminated back is in VG+ condition being clean and damage free. There is some very slight rubbing in one or two places most notably near to the edges, and there is the slightest of ring-wear/depression starting to form which is only really seen when viewing the back cover from an angle.
Spine: VG; the spine is intact, clean with good lamination cover. It is slightly rounded off; however all the text is still very much legible. A very slight loss of laminate at the bottom edge of the spine, were talking a few tiny areas.
Corners: EX; very slightly knocked but mostly retaining sharp and square edges. Bottom right corner when viewed from the front is a tad more bumped and there is a slight loss of laminate.
Summary: If you collect this wonderful label, and why wouldn’t you, this is a fab one to have in the collection. It’s mostly instrumental, a mix of blues slide guitar and wah wah, and a spot of swing and country. Good stuff like this doesn’t present itself too often and it’s certainly going to get more difficult in the future. Here’s your chance to grab a very decent copy of a much sought after Blue Horizon album. If you are seeking a Mint copy pse do not bid on this copy, this copy is graded as VG+. I send all records out in proper mailers with stiffeners so they should arrive as they left me. Finally, I offer a no quibble refund If you’re not delighted with your purchase, less postage of course. I can’t be fairer than that. Good Luck.
