SWELL MAPS / NIKKI SUDDEN - ORIGINAL LETTER POST-STAMPED 23 JULY 1979 Rare original letter from Nikki Sudden of the Swell Maps to a fan/friend, handwritten in mauve marker pen - in the letter he informs about new address, lists RATHER RECORDS releases from Gear-2 to Gear-6 and gives order information - he ends the letter by a nice drawing of Jowe Head. The letter is written on the back of an old paper with 'Instructions To Examination Candidates' dated 14th May, 1974. The envelope has a 'Leamington Spa' post stamp with date '23 July 1979' and time 2-PM. A great piece of DIY punk memorabilia, 100% genuine. size: letter 20,5 X 25,5 cm / envelope 9,5 X 14,5 cm Condition VG+ (I have crossed-off addresses and personal data for ebay use of images, the actual item is clean)

Rare original letter from Nikki Sudden of the Swell Maps to a fan/friend, handwritten in mauve marker pen - in the letter he informs about new address ("..Nr Leamington Spa"), lists RATHER RECORDS releases from Gear-2 to Gear-6 (although not all correct, he states GEAR-4 is the LP - "'A Trip To Marineville' is the LP but unless you live in outer Tibet you will know this" - but in fact GEAR-4 was the Cult Figures-Zip Nolan single) and gives order information "..you can obtain 'Red About Seymour' from us for uno pound (inc lyrics etc I guess)" - he ends the letter by a nice drawing of Jowe Head (he really enjoyed the big ears).
