GRADE & DESCRIPTION (RECORD): V+  (plays absolutely great, no issues, and comes with a decent condition, matching Decca sleeve from the appropriate era.  note that the A side has a smudgy spot thing that looks like possible heat damage but has absolutely NO affect on play whatsoever, makes no noise or sound - all you hear is that great music!  But I have included a pic of it in the photo gallery.)

(I grade conservatively using the VJM scale.  Slash grades ("V/V+") indicates different grades for each side, and side-by-side grades ("VV+") indicates a record that is right on the line between the two grades.  Please look carefully at the photos to assist in your own evaluation, but you can trust my grading.)

NOTES: One of the best movie songs of the swing era, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy is a WWII jump blues song written by the top song-writing duo Don Raye & Hughie Prince.  (They also composed Beat Me Daddy, Eight To The Bar, which was also recorded by the Andrews Sisters.)  At any rate, the Andrews Sisters introduced Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy in the Abbot & Costello comedy film Buck Privates, which was released in the spring of 1941.  The song reached #6 on the US pop singles chart, and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song.  This record always flies off my shelf when I acquire a copy to sell, and this one comes with a matching sleeve in decent shape.  I'm an expert & professional packer & shipper of 78rpm records, so please bid with confidence.
