SOUND SAMPLE IS 6 MINUTES LONG, 5 MINUTES IS RANDOMLY PLAYED THROUGHOUT ALL OF SIDE 1, SO YOU CAN HEAR HOW CLEAN THIS IS REGARDLESS OF THE SCUFFS WHICH DO NOT REPLAY ANY FAULTS. (visible in sunlight photo's 10 11, and 12)

Side 2 which has no visible scuffing, certainly not like side 1, is just the opening minute, the rest of the LP plays as cleanly as the sampled sections

Full replay, The Lp is a first label, Wide band groove "Original recording" at 10 O'clock, but came out of a completely unsellable cover.  The BLUEBACK Cover used to have a badly scratched australian pressing inside, so I put the UK first label edition in the August 1959 cover, which (THE COVER ) is unmarked.  Hardly any yellowing, NO splits, and even the thin card is only embossed with the shape of the LP in the front, but the laminate is still shiny, so not showing RUBBING, which is what I think ringwear is normally.  REAR card is plain, not laminated, and almost unmarked.

THIS is very clean sounding, side 1, has 3 or 4 long NON sounding Scuffs (see photo's 10, 11 and 12 taken in full angled sunlight to get them on the photo.  Only a few of the softest pips generally on this lp .

YES I KNOW THE Stampers may not technically match the date of the Cover

which is August 1959, as the Stampers are 7K and 3E.  although I have found

some history of Bluebacks sold with 7K 3E stampers.  

The OZ pressing that I discarded was 2K 6E stampers,  early OZ sxl's

were given full UK covers, so here is one of the covers retrieved

and at least matched up with a genuine UK first label.

COVER CONDITION   VG+++  There is NO ring wear, (embossing yes but not rubbed) REAR  yellowing is so minimal, and it is quite neat. (not even the usual brown staining along glue edges near seams or laminate!!!!) Only minor blemishes are-

(It would be hard to find a cleaner 1959 blueback I think)

1.   Rear white card has just a hint rubbing, but is same white as thye card under the laminate scallop flipbacks, so that indicates no yellowing of the rear plain card.

2.  Just a few edge creases from the thin cover flexing without an LP inside.

3. some small creases in laminate that do not show or are hard to see in photo's (over right eye  is one)

LP CONDITION VG+++ only downgraded due to visual non sounding scuffs on side 1   SEE Photo's,, Play test has only infrequent pips and tics as per normal vinyl replay BEAUTIFUL, AND THE DYNAMICS ARE GREAT, a few rotational spindle trails on both labels.

SOUND SAMPLE GUIDE First 1  minute 30 secs  is of opening side 1, then I trfr to the middle and end of side 1 to prove the long scuffs do not replay any tics.

side TWO at 5  minutes 5 seconds, WHICH IS THE REMAINDER OF THE 6  MINUTE  seconds SAMPLE IN TOTAL.

BE aware the sound sample talked about IS A LOW SAMPLE RATE AND accentuates treble (Hence more static crackle that you DON'T hear through your Hi Fi) and is low quality, but you get the idea.
