Description

TCH AIKOVSKY - PATHETIQUE

TCHAIKOVSKY - PATHETIQUE MARTINON THE VIENNA PHILHARMONIC
Rare uk SXL Wide Band Grooved EDITION 1. ''ORIGINAL RECORDING BY'' label text.
The vinyl Is very clean with a nice original sheen. There are no noticeable bad surface marks or scratches at all. There are just a couple of extremely light wispy top surface lines, barely any at all. The record looks In very nice EX condition.
Side 2 plays & sounds really excellent throughout, with barely any background crackle at all, & the sound quality Is excellent throughout. Side 1 has around a dozen light ticks during the very quiet Intro. There are also 2 tiny, hard to spot, very minor pressing flaws, these cause a few barely audible dull ticks when the stylus passes over them, these really are very light & behind the music, & am pretty sure that most would not even notice them at all. Apart from this, the rest of the side plays & sounds excellent, again, the sound quality Is really great throughout.
The Wide Band Grooved ED1 labels are excellent, showing barely any signs of play.
The front laminated flip-back sleeve Is In really great shape. The front lamination still has a nice high gloss finish, & the white matt back Is nice & clean, there are barely any signs of age or discolouration, just a little very light ring wear to the left side. The original Decca FFSS poly-lined Inner sleeve Is In EX clean condition, a little light creasing, but no marks, rips, or splits.
A very nice rare original SXL ED1, with just a couple of very minor light audible flaws to Side 1. Still plays & sounds really great though, with no bad or major faults.
