We have sold many rare Classical records over the years on ebay but due to the increasing difficulty in finding these sought after pressings this weeks auctions are our first classical listings of the year. Free Postage in the UK, Cheap overseas posting (we have sent many, many records securely to USA, Japan, Korea, Singapore, China, Hong Kong etc) and combined shipping up to 2kg (5/6 LPs) at exact shipping cost to us!
Sleeve Condition: VG+, with minor corner rubbing and small tear to front lower middle (see picture)
Vinyl Condition: VG, visually the vinyl shows some mild paper scuffs and hairlines in general but one noticeable concentic circular scratch in line with the grooves towards the start of side 2. Please read on because this is not as serious as it sounds. Audio wise Side One is an Excellent listen with only minor crackle during quiet passages. Side Two opens with a click which repeats for approximately 34 rotations. A few minutes later there are some double clicks as the needle approaches the scratch for approx 6 rotations. The scratch itself produces a noticeable hiss and clicks for a short duration of only a couple of rotations. I was surprised that it didn't sound worse, I was expecting a jump but audio wise it is not as bad as it looks. The rest of Side Two then proceeds to plays Excellently, with only minor crackle in places and the very occasional isolated tick.
There are some spindle traces to each label which reveal the disc has been played moderately but not heavily, see label picture.
So to sum up, this is a copy which plays Excellently for about 95% of its duration but with the audio problems outlined above.
I hope you'll find this a clear and honest appraisal of the condition of this rare disc.
