1958 UK WBG DECCA STEREO-SXL 2012
'Original Recording By' label text.
Here is a rarely offered early stereo issue of this musically superb decca wideband grooved SXL series classical rarity. This copy grades excellent condition and plays with the minimal amount on light background hiss/crackle and just a few tics.
The original thick vinyl visually grades as excellent condition, both sides still have a great original sheen with just a few light wispy top surface marks, some feint hairlines and some very light sleeve withdrawal traces, there are no nasty marks so there are no overly loud clicks or pops, the sound quality is really excellent and clear throughout displaying just minimal light background hiss/crackle and just a few tics, this background noise really is only very occasional and very minor as this album plays and sounds a superb EX+ almost all the way through. This very rare classical album has just been professionally deep vacuum cleaned and comes in a brand new poly-lined inner sleeve, the original FFSS poly-lined inner will also be included.
The early FFSS wideband grooved matt black decca labels are in very good condition, there are some spindle traces visible on each side and very little wear but they are otherwise excellent
The front laminated flip-back cover is in near excellent condition, this original thin flimsy sleeve is actually in really great condition apart from a small spine seem split and some very minor age spotting to the white matt back. The pictures say it all, this cover is still in great condition apart from the small repairable spine split. The original FFSS poly-lined inner is in nice clean condition with some light crumpling/creasing.
A very rare original Stereo copy of a this excellent classical album.

I pack my records very well. The vinyl and inner sleeve will be removed from the cover to avoid seem/edge splits in transit, plenty of rigid cardboard support will be used to avoid corners bending, this album will reach you in the same condition as advertised.
