RECORDING :THERE IS SOME SLIGHT NOISE AT THE BEGINNING.TO MY MIND THIS RECORDING IS AT LEAST VG++ BUT COULD VERGE ON NM.LABELS ARE CLEAN AND UNMARKED

THE SOUND IS SIMPLY BEYOND DESCRIPTION

SLEEVE/BOX:THERE IS A SLIGHT BUMP TO BOTH LEFT CORNERS ONLY.THIS HAS TO BE AMONG THE MOST BEAUTIFUL RECORD SLEEVES EVER DEVISED

ALL ITEMS ARE PLAYED VARIOUSLY ON A MICHELL GYRO DEC.

ALL ITEMS ARE CONSERVATIVELY DETERMINED FOR QUALITY

NM:         Means that the vynal has rarely been played and displays all properties associated with a new item ie clean and shiny.

For the cover/box it means that apart from an occasional crease the item is as new

VG++      Means that there may be light scratches and marks and that there may be some audible crackles

Please be aware that many of the recordings of this vintage were released with background noise,car horns etc in the background. Copies of the reviews of the period in Grammaphone Magazine attest to this.

For the sleeve/box a few minor tears or even some writing (price stickers are particularly rampant down here..

A NOTE ON AUSTRALIAN PRESSINGS

It is my intention to offer a Number of Australian Pressings over the coming months.

I am of the view that they are at least as good as the English Pressings and in fact many are English Pressings with a local label. Most come in the English sleeve. This idea of re-labelling pressings is a throwback to our colonial heritage, it is only in the last decade or so that Australians have been able to import direct from the US in terms of books, records etc.

Australian Pressings are considerably cheaper at the moment but I cannot see this lasting much longer.
