Overall play grade is EX-.

Much of this plays as EX with all the musical passages playing clearly and brightly. There are no sticks, skips, jumps or any evidence of groovewear and .

There is some very light surface crackle in the run in/out areas. There is a little short lived, quiet surface noise/crackle in a few places on both sides. There are x2 'clicks' just into the start of side 1 and x2 quite loud 'clicks' near the end of side 2 which both seemed to be cause by very tiny marks. There are repeating 'tics' (about 6 times) at about the 30 minute mark on side 1 and towards the end of band 2 on side 2.

When tilted under normal lighting conditions side 1 appears to be unmarked. Side 2 has a light, thin non-sounding scuff across most of the side which runs into the dead wax.

When tilted under halogen lights there are just a few more light marks visible on both sides with side 2 having more than side 1.

Sleeve grades as EX-.

Has a few spots of bottom edge wear. There is also a little patch of laminate lifting in the front, bottom corner and a few laminate creases just above this which have just broken the surface of teh sleeve.

Poly-lined 'FFSS' inner grades as EX.

I dispatch records in brand new, bought in mailers designed for the process. Before placing in the mailer I take LPs out of the sleeve place both in a polysleeve and between two card stiffeners and if there is a picture sleeve I place the LP in a plain sleeve to prevent knifing of the picture sleeve. [all this costs £0.80/single LP].

I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT IT'S APPROPRIATE.

(M) MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

(EX) EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

(VG) VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

(G) GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

(F) FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

(P) POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

(B) BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
