Puccini

Turandot

Catalogue Number: SXL 2078 - 80

Label:  Decca - Black/Silver - Wide Band - "Made In England" at 21.00

Manufactured in the UK

• Highly collectable 3LP box set with 20 page Libretto featuring Inge Borkh, Renata Tebaldi, Mario Del Monaco, Mario Carlin and others.

• The Accademia Di Santa and Chorus conducted by Alberto Erede

• The Decca Black/Silver wide band labels are immaculate. No pen marks, stickers or tears etc. The albums are housed in the original lined inners - not FFSS liners.  One of the inners has some writing on it.

• The vinyls are in Excellent + condition, no visual imperfections that I can detect. All three vinyls have been pro cleaned on an Okki Nokki machine and sample played on a Clear Audio deck. The vinyls lie perfectly flat on the deck and sound superb throughout. I did not detect any clicks, jumps etc. The 20 page libretto has a 2" tear down the spine at the top left hand corner. It also has a price (in old UK currency) to the front of the Libretto and three side indicators in pen next to text indicating the start of sides of the opera.  Overall the Libretto is in Very Good + condition.   The box is all intact, no tears, stains - just a little shelf rub to the base.

• Note: This is a very heavy item - postage is high, all items are sent recorded delivery.

We are a small business founded in 2006 and based in Lichfield Staffordshire. We only sell high quality vinyl and do not trade in inferior cd's. In addition, we organize a number of specialist vinyl record fairs in Lichfield and Burton Upon Trent.  We aim to provide the very best customer service at all times – accurate gradings, strong packaging and all at a keen price. Any queries please mail me at thoseoldrecords@btinternet.com

Record Grading:

All records are graded as per the standards set by Record Collector. Records are examined under a strong halogen light and graded accordingly. In addition, all NON MINT records are played on a Clear Audio deck. I tend not to get carried away with the classification or use words like “impossibly rare” “vault copy” or any other such nonsense.  My reviews are precise and to the point.  It is assumed that you know something of the artist so I rarely provide a description of who they are/were etc. The High Numbers become The Who, `N Betweens become Slade – you will not find a long description on the history in these reviews.

Record Cleaning:

All NON MINT albums are professionally cleaned prior to classification on an Okki Nokki record cleaning machine before dispatch.

Packaging: (all vinyl 7” + 12”)

Packaging is of the highest quality.  I use professional mailers at all times, each record is supported by 2 cardboard stiffeners. The inner sleeve and record are packed individually in order to reduce wear on the sleeve in transit. The record, inner and cardboard stiffeners are then packed inside a high grade polythene record protector before being sealed in the mailer. The mailer is then supported by tape around the edges in order to minimise risk.

Postage is normally done the next working day after payment. All items are sent "Recorded Delivery". There are no exceptions. Proof of postage is retained with all items.
