Description
Decca Records stereo three disc boxed set SXL 2101-2-3, First grooved ED1 wideband label discs have "Original Recording By..." at upper left, made in England. Stampers on all six sides are 1E, this is the earliest pressing. Includes both the full size insert with program notes, and the small size complete libretto. The complete libretto is rarely found with this set. The earliest issue of this did not come with a complete libretto, it had to be purchased separately.
Wagner, Das Rheingold, complete opera, with Kirsten Flagstad, George London, Set Svenholm and Gustzv Neidlinger. Georg Solti conducts the Vienna Philharmonic. See pics for complete cast.
