TCHAIKOVSKY: Symophony No.5

JOSEPH KRIPS -WITH THE VIENNA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA

Rare 1st UK Pressing

Label: Decca SXL 2109 - Wide Band grooved, "Original Recording ..." at 10 o'clock

RENOWNED FOR BEING ONE OF THE  DEFINITIVE   PERFORMANCES  OF  THIS  PIECE!

This is another perfectly flat vinyl that looks in Excellent+ condition with some minor visible signs of use and a lovely mirror like surface to both sides. This is another rare LP from my personal collection. It has been play tested before listing on my Linn Sondek turntable, through Quad amps to Spendor speakers-

IT PLAYS AND SOUNDS SUPERB--LOUD AND POWERFUL WITH  SOME SURFACE NOISE AT THE BEGINNING AND IN THE QUIETER PARTS(NO JUMPS OR SKIPS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE 2 SIDES)THERE ARE SOME SMALL MARKS THAT DO CAUSE THE ODD CLICK HERE AND THERE BUT NOTHING SERIOUS.

I WOULD GRADE THE VINYL AS EXCELLENT+ ,IT JUST PLAYS WITH SOME STATIC IN PLACES AND THE ODD TICK HERE AND THERE. THE VINYL LOOKS PERFECTLY CLEAN BUT CLEANED PROPERLY WOULD PROBABLY IMPROVE IT .

Labels are in near mint condition with some spindle marks (see pics)

Original inner is also in excellent condition.

A lovely rare LP!

There are images at the bottom of this page, but if you want to study more pictures I have taken of this LP please go to my photo webpage below, then click on the image and use the zoom tag, there are 41 more detailed pictures in total!
