SXL 2125 BACH Brandenburg 1 6 MUNCHINGER Stuttgart WIDE BAND GROOVED
Bach Brandenburg Concertos, No.1 and No.6.
Munchinger and the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra and Soloists.England manufactured Decca stereo LP, SXL 2125.
Early grooved wide band ED2 with "Made In England" perimeter lettering and 1E/2E matrix suffixes.
Vinyl at least EX plus. Bright and glossy surfaces display just a very few light and wispy superficial hairline scuffs. Spindle areas suggest a little and carefully played LP. Playback is bright and clean and the LP do not suffer from distortion or groove wear.
Labels are clean and undefaced.
Plain inner sleeve.
External sleeve at least VG plus. Structurally sound and just showing light loss of crispness. Laminated front panel is still acceptably bright and glossy with just a few minor imperfections to the surface laminate. Actually looks very much better than photo suggests, as laminated black sleeves do not photograph well. Rear panel is matt with black text, some titles in red. Hidden internal flaps. Rear panel has a presumed deletion stamp (DI in box) to top left, else is broadly clean and unmarked with just gentle age and handling toning.
