Description
Decca records stereo three disc set, SXL 2129-31, Verdi's Il Trovatore. Renata Tebaldi, Mario Del Monace, Giulietta Simionato, Ugo Savarese and Giorgio Tozzi. Alberto Erede conducts the chorus of Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the Orchesstre Du Grande Theatre De Geneve.
Discs are all early, grooved, ED1, with "Original Recording by..." at 10:00. Discs are in NM- to NM condition. One very small light mark on side 1, otherwise unmarked. Shows very little sign of use. Box has general wear, hinge still OK, but wear to the corners. Text on spine is worn off. Still presentable (see picture).
A great early copy of this great performance.
