Description
Decca Records stereo SXL 2182, first grooved wideband label disc has "Original Recording By..." at upper left. Pressed in England. Stampers are 1D 2E.
Peter Maag conducts the Paris Conservatory Orchestra in four Rossini Overtures. Includes William Tell, Cinderella, Semiramide and The Thieving Magpie (La Gazza Ladra). See pics for program details.
Disc VG++ a number of light sleeve marks, plays nicely with a few scattered bits of surface noise which do not detract from the music. Play-graded all the way through, jacket VG, intact, but with quite a bit of foxing at the bottom of the front.
Not a collector grade copy, but a very enjoyable copy of an exceptionally rare record.
