Rare Decca SXL 2194 VG+ WBG ED1 label POOR 1960  Scallop Flipback cover

10 minute sample of edges and 2 random sections from middle of each side

Side 1 run in on 1st track, sample for opening 2 minutes random section from middle of side 1  starts at 2 mins 15 and finishes at 4 minutes

Side 2 run in on 1st track starts at 4 min 15 seconds and finishes at 6 minutes 30 seconds random section from middle of side 2 starts at 6 minutes 36 seconds and  completes the 10 minute  sound sample

Shows how listenable this is with some light crackles throughout and some small repetetive tics, FULLY TEST PLAYED no skips (1.5gm headshell weight )    I washed this very thoroughly, so I don't really expect it to be any cleaner if the new buyer tries to improve it.

with this recording  on the Decca Eclipse label NM/NM if the winner of this one wins the other one, they will have a really good copy to listen to with slightly (!!!) later stampers

This is definitely the first  label for this LP ('Original Recording By ' at 10 o'clock also 2E/ 2E stampers

LP Downgraded to VG+

 due to some constant static crackle in quieter passages and some short sections with a few repetetive tics, NO SKIPS very little sign of spider lines etc or spindle trails even in sunlight ,

COVER POOR rated .

Yellowed around edges and laminate is yellowed and  damaged. Repaired  Scallop flipbacks, cover dated Feb 1960 in printing on bottom flipback. see photo 's

The rest of the edges are badly cracked or creased, please examine all supersize photo's if considering bidding on this item. This is definitely a UK Press,

Rarely ever seen in Australia.  LP test played and sampled after extensive washing
