FIRST PRESSING:- Black silver ED1 Decca label with "ORIGINAL RECORDING" text.
Date of Release:- 1960.
Title:- Mendelssohn in Scotland.

RARE LABEL ERROR. The same label has been pressed on to both sides of the disc!!
As you can see from the photos the matrix numbers are different SO the record plays as it should.
Given Decca's high quality control this could be a UNIQUE example of its kind.
Stereo version produced by Ray Minshull and engineered by Kenneth Wilkinson
the recording took place between 21-22 Apr 1960 at The Kingsway Hall, London
and released in November 1960.
Made in UK. EARLIEST EVER MATRIX ZAL-4811-1E & ZAL-4812-1E.
Gradings:-NM - no background noise at all. The record plays like new

Condition:-
Disc is FULLY PLAY TESTED. NOT JUST GUESSED AT!
Record:- The record (Side 1) plays as EX. A few wispy paper removal marks etc.
The odd static. Absolutely no major problems. NO repeats NO jumps.
Side 2 is VG. A couple of tics/clicks. Perfectly listenable but not for the purist. No skips/jumps or repeats.
Sleeve:- Front laminated sleeve. See photos.
