Description
On the original Stereo U.K. Decca 'Wideband' label from 1961 (SXL 2279). Here is a genuine first pressing of this classical album in all its glory. This is a fantastic copy and one of the best i have ever seen. Simpily stunning!!! This is: Tchaikovsky: Violin Concerto in D Major, Op.35 / Dvorak: Violin Concerto in A Minor, Op.53 by Ruggiero Ricci with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sir Malcolm Sargent. This is the original 1st issue due to the original 'Wideband' and the 'Grooved' label, also the 'Original Recording By' text at the 10'o'Clock position and the 'Made In England' text at the 6'o'Clock position.
Sleeve: NM+: Due to only very few, very small laminate creases around the edges and some laminate lifting near the spine edge and some very minor wear to the corners. This is a stunning sleeve and is easily one of the best examples i have seen.
Disc: EX+: Due to some light surface 'sleeve scuff' markings that have no affect on the sound at all, otherwise this disc sounds and is visually superb.
Labels: Are both clean and tidy with only very few faint spindal mark around the centre hole on each side.
Sound Quality: This LP sounds great, crisp and clear throughout with no distortion. Stunning sound quality.
