Pressed in England and released on Decca SXL 2285.
First press wide band grooved label with "Original recording...' at 10 o'clock.
Play grades as EX-/VG+.
All musical and vocal passages play clearly and brightly.
There are no sticks, skips or jumps. There is a little light surface noise/crackle in the run in/out areas on both sides of the LP and this leaks into the start of band 1 on both sides, running for about 30 seconds on side 1 and nearer 2 minutes on side 2 (although the last half of this is quite quiet).
Also about half way through band 1 on side 1 there is a tic that repeats 4 times. Side 2 band 1 also has a tic that repeats about 12 times & band 2 has one that repeats 3 times.
When tilted under normal lighting conditions both sides appear to be unmarked.
When tilted under halogen lights both sides have just a few faint marks visible.
Front laminated sleeve grades as VG+.
The front of the sleeve is EX, the unlaminated rear is VG with a closed tear (~3cm) about half way down the opening and some age related browning.
Decca FFSS poly-lined inner sleeve grades as EX-.
Has some light creasing.

I dispatch records in brand new, bought in mailers designed for the process. Before placing in the mailer I take LPs out of the sleeve place both in a polysleeve and between two card stiffeners and if there is a picture sleeve I place the LP in a plain sleeve to prevent knifing of the picture sleeve. [all this costs £0.80/single LP].

I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT IT'S APPROPRIATE.

(M) MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

(EX) EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

(VG) VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

(G) GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

(F) FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

(P) POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

(B) BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
