SXL 6063 wbg ED1 *BEETHOVEN - PIANO SONATAS **BACKHAUS DECCA 1st UK LP **SONATA No. 28 + SONATA No. 17 ++++++ Excellent and highly sought after recordings featuring WILHELM BACKHAUS. Decca wide band grooved label 1st UK release. "Original Recording By".

The sleeve is in VG++ to excellent condition - some very minor wear and a little discolouration. The vinyl is in VG++ condition - there is a small squiggle mark at the start of band 3, side 1 which creates a couple of quiet crackles and there is a scuff/mark on band 1, side 2 which creates about 20 soft tics. There is a little surface noise present in places and a few scattered tics but nothing that ever overpowers the stunning playing.
