Description

The record might say 'Made in England By' but it is really a 1st edition as there is no 'Original Recording By' as far as I'm aware. Having inspected the vinyl I have found a few imperfections but these have virtually no impact on the sound quality. Side 1 plays through with a little surface noise at first and a few ticks but despite what looks like a long mark going groovewise between 7 and 5 o'clock and vertically for a small distance this has no impact on the essential quality of the sound. Once given a thorough professional clean I reckon it would sound near perfect. Side 2 has some crackling at the beginning but improves as it plays through. This is apparently quite common for records that need a deep clean. I think it's a fine record and would give it Ex for now but with a professional clean I think it would have the potential to be an Ex+ audio wise if not visually.  The sleeve has some staining and discolouration so that would be rated VG. Anyway I reckon this record is a must have for any Decca collector.
