VERY RARE DECCA 1st UK TEST PRESSING **RADU LUPU +++++
SCHUMANN - PIANO CONCERTO in A Minor, Op.54 + GRIEG - PIANO CONCERTO in A Minor, Op.16
From a large collection of test pressings from an ex Decca employee. These test pressings were either unplayed or played once.
Excellent and highly sought after audiophile recordings as recommended by Arthur Salvatore on his High End Audio list and by Harry Pearson on his Absolute Sound list (Grieg) featuring RADU LUPU (piano) with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by ANDRE PREVIN. Decca label test pressing 1st UK release.
Information and cutting sheet attached to the inner sleeve.This test pressing was intended for the 1986 release with the catalogue number 414 432-1 but is made from the original ZAL stamper for the SXL 6624 release. The stamper numbers are ZAL 12561-2. As far as I know there has never been another copy of this Test Pressing for sale.

The sleeve (for SXL 6624) is in excellent condition. The vinyl is in near mint condition.
