Description
This is a wonderful original Decca SXL-2197, Ed1 deep groove, UK pressing. The vinyl is NM-/NM-, the cover is NM-/VG++(writing on the back from when my father taped it), and the inner sleeve is NM-. I feel the record has been played very little since my father taped most of his collection, and I played this record only a couple time. All records in this 20K plus collection have been treated with the utmost care,(the whole collection is for sale, and most are audiophile quality and were always handled carefully). The collection is 85% stereo and 15% mono. My father and myself have always been meticulous about condition and playing. This collection has been collected over a 50 year plus time period. When items were recorded they on a Ampex 350 recorder. The program material is as follows; Bizet-Sarasate/Carmen Fantaisie, Sarasate/Zigeunerweisen, Saint-Saens/Havanaise Introduction & Rondo Capriccioso. The violinist is Ruggiero Ricci playing with the London Symphony Orchestra with Pierino Gamba.If you have any questions please ask before bidding.
