On offer an incredibly VERY RARE LP (especially in this condition!!!!) from Syd Barrett called "The Madcap Laughs" and is a VERY rare 1969 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Harvest label!!!!THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS QUITE LITERALLY THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING !!!!  AMAZINGLY THIS LP HAS 1/L 1/M MOTHER & STAMPER CODES - SHOWING THAT IT IS QUITE LITERALLY THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING MADE!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS HARVEST LABEL, NO 'EMI BOX' ON THE LABEL, 'THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' LABEL EDGE TEXT, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD LAMINATED 'E.J.DAY' COVER - WITH THE 'EARLIEST' 6911 DATE CODE (NOVEMBER 1969)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS AN 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1969 1ST PRESSING - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is SHVL 765 on the 1st Press Harvest Label (see picture) and is a UK 1st Stereo pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!  An astonishing album that really DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60's / 70's record collection!!!

CONDITION VINYL

RECORD LABEL The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only ultra light, very few and faint spindle traces!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! VISUAL CONDITION The vinyl is in  BRILLIANT SUPERB GREAT condition!!!! AMAZING for a record of this age and rarity!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs are played into submission or badly marked or scratched, and almost unplayable or are in a sorry state.This one is NOT!!! In fact closer inspection under a strong light one can observe only 3 or 4 MEGA light surface marks and a few very light paper line marks only visible under strong light!!! SOUND QUALITY There is a superb audio clarity on this original album, the sides both kicking off with close to silent run-in grooves and then maintaining a high standard of audio throughout. The record plays SENSATIONAL with  NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss, NO pops,  it has only  a touch of MEGA LIGHT static crackle - FAINT INDEED!!! Certainly nothing that detracts from the overall IMPRESSIVE sound quality of the album. It plays  simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Excellent+ if not better and plays BRILLIANTLY!!!!   Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! Graded STRICTLY to the UK Record Collector grading standards. 

CONDITION OUTER SLEEVE

The 1st Press Gatefold Laminated 'E.J.DAY' Cover - WITH THE 'EARLIEST' 6911 DATE CODE (NOVEMBER 1969)!!!!   is in SUPERB condition!!!!  It has NO split, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear, SUPERB shiny laminate, only a few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The only thing to mention is only a very light on a  small area of laminate lifted/cracks on bottom edge!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO writing, NO rubbing, and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good+++ if not better!!!! 

 Hard to find in ANY condition, but SERIOUSLY RARE TO FIND ONE AS SUPERB AS THIS!!! YOU WILL NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don't miss out on this scarce opportunity to own a true piece of 60's/70's music history!!!
