Description:
Original UK 1988 first pressing of Opel by Syd Barrett released on Harvest.
The vinyl remains visually exceptionally clean overall with very glossy surfaces and only a few faint hairlines visible under bright light. Playback is particularly strong throughout ranging between Excellent Plus and near mint during careful play testing.
There is only a very faint trace of crackle audible during the very intro to the album and not elsewhere during playback.
The record also has a couple of tiny faint manufacturing bumps on side 2, though these are barely audible during playback and do not significantly affect listening quality.
Labels remain especially clean with hardly any spindle wear visible, strongly suggesting only light historical use.
The original glossy gatefold sleeve grades Excellent Plus overall and remains especially bright and sharp with only minimal signs of handling/storage.
Importantly, this copy still retains the original paper inner sleeve dated 9-88.
Carefully cleaned and fully play tested prior to listing. Vinyl also checked carefully for warping and dishing. This copy remains very flat.
