Welcome to Heart of Wax - Vinyl online record shop. I shall endeavour to post up as many exciting records up here that I find. Usually all from private collections which I've sourced. Syd Barrett - Opel Reissue from 1988. Basically this is the 'lost' material from 1968-70 from the Pink Floyd lynchpin. The tone is very much in keeping with his pair of solo albums; ragged, predominantly acoustic, melodic and teetering on the edge of dementia. Meticulous liner notes and excellent sound complete this lovingly archival package. I can't see this record hanging around too long!
P.S 'Octopus' which appears on here is an early version of the track which also appears on The Madcap Laughs. His only single to chart as a solo artist.
Condition Sleeve - VG. LP - G-VG - with one surface mark on Side 2. Plays through fine though. Clean black/silver Harvest labels. ___________
