SYLVESTER WEAVER
OKEH 8504
V
TITLES:
- Can't Be Trusted Blues
- Penitentiary Bound Blues
Sylvester Weaver was one of the earliest slide guitar players recorded. He worked with Sara Martin and Walter Beasley. He appears here on two solo sides from an August 1927 recording session.
Record has some light scuffs and scratches, a couple of moderate marks on the "B" side which may be audible. Record has a rim chip on the "A" side which touches no grooves. Labels look fine though the "B" side lable has a minor dark stain in the lower left quadrant which appears more noticeable in the pics than on the record itself. Not a bad looking recording. Looks V, plays V or better.
