I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A LARGE AMOUNT OF AN OLD WAREHOUSE STOCK OF MANY DIY PUNK / MINIMAL SYNTH / INDUSTRIAL / POST PUNK / MESSTHETICS / H2D / HYPED TO DEATH / HOMEWORK / TEENLINE TYPE ITEMS, ALL ARE IN AN UNPLAYED CONDITION !!!! SO KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS !
This is a VERY RARE MESSTHETICS / H2D / HYPED TO DEATH / HOMEWORK /TEENLINE / DIY PUNK split E.P. by the bands THE SYNDICATE and RESTRICTED HOURS from 1979, ORIGINAL PRESSING AND A MUST !!!
This single is very rare and it appears on many wants lists, the sound would fit on any of the MESSTHETICS / H2D / HYPED TO DEATH / HOMEWORK / TEENLINE type compilations.
THE SYNDICATE side is pure PUNK / KBD, while the RESTICTED HOURS side is more in the DIY PUNK vain.
The E.P. came out on R.A.R. RECORDS catalogue number RAR 1.
The songs are:
THE SYNDICATES: ONE WAY OR ANOTHER / I WANT TO BE SOMEBODY.
RESTRICTED HOURS: GETTING THINGS DONE / STILL LIVING OUT THE CAR CRASH.
The single comes with the original HOME MADE FOLD OVER STAPLED PICTURE SLEEVE, and the labels are white labels with information STAMPED ON THEM AND HAND WRITTEN, a real DIY JOB in the true DIY PUNK spirit !!!
As if that was not enough the single was only played a couple of times, and the condition of the VINYL is in EX+ condition, the VERY THIN HOME MADE FOLDED STAPLED P/S is in a typical VG+ condition with slight stains from the staples, and minor bends, and very minor fold tears.
DON'T LET THIS RARE DIY POST PUNK single get away as you will never see another and especially not in this condition.
