Description
This is a 4LP box set featuring Henryk Szeryng playing the complete works for violin & orchestra by Mozart. Alexander Gibson conducts the New Philharmonia Orchestra. The discs are dated 1970. Included is a full-size 12 page illustrated booklet in English, French & German. Each disc is housed in a poly-lined plain paper inner sleeve.
The item will be posted in a commercial Defenda LP mailer made of corrugated cardboard.
Condition of Discs The discs are clean and glossy, with negligible signs of wear or spindle-wear (or 'squirreling') around the centre holes. I have listened to excerpts and they play beautifully. Overall, I have conservatively graded the discs as "Excellent" (Record Collector grading system).
Condition of Box/Booklet etc The booklet is free of writing, tears, creasing, foxing etc: graded 'Excellent'. The box has a removable gold sticker on the front (see photo). The spine text is clearly readable. The box is in one piece and the hinged lid works perfectly but there is some shelf/handling wear at the rear bottom edge where the cardboard is starting to split.: graded 'Good'.
International Postage (Airmail) The price shown is a maximum and is the actual cost of Royal Mail Small Packet International Signed For. If your country supports Airsure, I may use that or an equivalent courier, if cheaper. Please wait for invoice before paying.
