1950 release.
Beautiful violin recital by the brilliant Joseph Szigeti, accompanied by pianist Joseph Levine on the Schubert composition and Andor Farkas, Andor Foldes and Harry Kaufman providing piano accompaniment on the remaining selections.
US mono heavy-vinyl pressing on the early blue Columbia label.
Recording has been cleaned on a VPI machine.
Vinyl: VG+ (some surface marks; play-tested well with generally light surface noise with some noticeable tics (8 and 5 respectively) as the stylus passes over 2 small convex points on Side 2 that are manufacturing defects in the vinyl.)
Jacket: VG (split in top seam from jacket opening to midpoint; some wear from midpoint to spine; 2-3 inch split in bottom seam at midpoint; half-inch split in bottom seam at jacket opening; 5-inch split upper mid spine; noticeable shelf-wear)
