Sade Stronger Than Pride LP 2020 Reissue, Remastered 180 Gram Black VInyl
New - Never Played - was only opened to ultrasonically clean and store in new protective sleeves.
Brand new LP was opened so record can be removed from inner paper sleeve to prevent damage to the vinyl. These paper sleeves are not good for vinyl records and with time will cause hairline scratches, and create more dust and static.
Record was given an ultrasonic wash using Tergikleen (which is also used by US Library of Congress, etc for archival purposes) to get in and remove any dirt and debris that may be stuck deep in the grooves from the factory where the records were pressed. After wash, the record was followed by a vacuum method rinse to prevent any dirt picked up from going back into the grooves. Immediately after, the vinyl went directly into a 3 layer anti static sleeve lined with rice paper and then both record and sleeves stored inside a double pocket outer sleeve. The original inner sleeve is also protected in its own crystal clear inner sleeve.
