Description
This is Blue Note Records BLP 5035, Sal Salvador Quintet, a blue and white, Lexington Ave., deep groove label original mono issue of this excellent record with the ear (p) mark in the dead wax (RVG does not appear until 5043). The record is in VG+ condition, showing light marks on both sides and playing with occasional light background noise particularly at the beginning of both sides. There are no skips or distortion of the music and it is an overall excellent listening experience. The cover has some light edge wear and a stain on the back but is intact. The labels show some color running probably when the record was cleaned. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is still a fine collector's grade copy of this original mono Blue Note recording with all the appropriate markers present.
