Description

This is the soundtrack to the psychological thriller Saltburn. It is the Bath Water edition and is liquid filled. It is from Bad World. Only a small number of these were made and they sold out, so not only are they rare from the liquid part but also from the amount that were made. It came open like this so I took pictures and then put it in a plastic cover to make sure it stayed in good condition.
The soundtrack to black comedy psychological thriller Saltburn comes to 'bath water' filled vinyl LP via Bad World. The film became one of the most-streamed films upon its streaming release on Amazon Prime Video in December 2023. It received critical acclaim and several accolades, including nominations for two Golden Globe Awards and five BAFTA Awards.

Liquid filled LPs are not new, but the existing production methods mean that very few people can actually own them. Most are made using two lathe-cut sides of an LP which are then glued together by hand with a plastic spacer and liquids (of varying quality) are then injected into the cavity.
The problem with this, aside from inconsistencies in quality and sealing, is that they’re incredibly laborious to make, expensive and manufactured usually in very small runs of less than 50 units with worst sound quality than the existing format. 

After 18 months of development Bad World has been able to solve these problems, manufacturing the records at scale using industrial processes and pressing the records using traditional presses, meaning the same great sound quality you’d expect from an LP and industrial sealing processes to ensure no leaks.
