Long unavailable on vinyl, this quintessential collector’s edition includes Sam Cooke’s sensational second LP, Encore, originally issued by the Keen label in 1958. Music critic Ron Wynn wrote the following about the Encore LP: “Superb vocals by the great Sam Cooke, with some sophisticated pop, wonderful ballads, and a few intense wailers that recall his great gospel material.”In addition to the original masterpiece, this WaxTime collector’s edition includes 2 bonus tracks from the same period: “Comes Love” and the tender “You Were Made for Me”. Awesome tunes from one of the pioneers and most important singers in soul music.
