Description
Both labels have New York USA; 43 West 61st St. address on the bottom of the back cover. The record has the "ear" and " VAN GELDER" inscribed in the dead wax. 6 tracks. Leader, Sam Rivers, tenor sax; Jaki Byard, piano; Ron Carter, bass; Tony Williams, drums. All compositions are originals by Rivers.
Cover: VG+ Intact with name of previous owner stamped near the top of the back cover. Minor edge wear. Light aging and light soil from ordinary handling on the back cover.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface. On Track 3, Side 1 there are a small number of barely audible clicks through the bass solo, towards the end of the Track. On Side 2, Track 1,1 faint click near the end of the Track. On Track 2, 2 faint clicks at the beginning of the Track during the first 1 or 2 revolutions. Otherwise, no other surface noise. As mentioned, the slight noise is barely audible. Very fine condition. Audibly checked.
