Up for sale is a 1971 White Label Promo pressing of Sam Samudio – Sam, Hard and Heavy on Atlantic Records SD 8271.

This is a true promotional copy issued to radio stations, featuring the “Sample Copy Not For Sale” white labels and the original Promotional DJ Suggested Cuts sticker on the front cover.

Atlantic white label promos were produced in limited quantities for industry distribution and are often among the earliest pressings manufactured.

An additional highlight for collectors: Duane Allman appears on guitar on this album, making this an interesting crossover collectible for Allman Brothers collectors as well.
