Released in 1967, The Best of Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs collects the group’s best-known garage-rock and Tex-Mex hits in one compact set. “Wooly Bully,” “Li’l Red Riding Hood,” “Ring Dang Doo,” “Ju Ju Hand,” and “Mystery Train” trace the band’s irreverent mid-1960s peak. This stereo MGM Records copy is catalog SE-4422, confirmed from the black inner labels and matched to the gatefold jacket. The record, sleeve, and inlay are all graded Excellent.
