Description
This is Folkways Records FA 2694, Roots Of Black Music In America Compiled And Edited By Samuel Charters, a 2lp box set, blue labeled, mono issue of this excellent field survey of the music of West Africa. The records are in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The box shows loss on the spine and separation of the front from the back. The insert booklet is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent with light spindle marks. The records have been cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
