Description
This is Sandy Denny's 1973 "Like an old fashioned waltz" on 12-inch vinyl and it is personally signed on the rear cover by both Sandy Denny herself and her husband Trevor Lucas, who co-produced the album.
It was signed in 1977 before (or perhaps after) her gig at the New Theatre Oxford, which was one of her last gigs before she sadly died in 1978.
My late brother (John) was a huge Sandy Denny / Fairport fan and was living in Oxford at the time. She has signed it "To John Love from Sandy Denny", while Trevor Lucas has simply signed his name.

The vinyl is in good condition (poss very good) with no marks or scratches. The cover does have some wear and frays at the edges, and the glue at the top of the gatefold sleeve has come apart. (This would be easily fixed). I would rate the cover condition as 'good'.
Please note that I am not a dealer or a record collector. The items I am selling are all from the extensive collection of my late brother.
He was a great music and radio enthusiast, working for both BBC and commercial radio stations in the East Midlands from 1980 until 2013 presenting various music shows, mostly folk and rock.
He was at Oxford University from 1975 until 1979, hence he was at the Sandy Denny gig in 1977.
During this period he interviewed many bands and artists in Nottingham, Derby and Leicester and usually had them sign copies of the albums they were promoting at the time. He was also sent many promotional, DJ-only and white-label pressings direct from the record companies.
Sadly my brother passed away in November 2013, so I am slowly disposing of his extensive record collection. He had no family of his own, so according to his wishes we have opened a trust account to help his nephew and two nieces through university, and the proceeds from these sales will be paid into that account.
I will be listing quite a few similar items over the coming months, as there are original signed albums by artists ranging from The Ramones to Bryan Ferry, plus some rarities and DJ-only promotional copies.
All vinyl will be sent in special secure mailers with stiffeners.
