Description
Sanford Clark-The Fool/Lonesome For A Letter (MCI 1955). Rare rockabilly 45 from Sanford Clark on the MCI label out of Arizona. Two cool songs with a classic sound. The record is a solid VG with non-feelable scratches and hairline scratches, scuffs, and scuff marks. There is a storage warp that tracks fine. Both songs play solid with some clicks, tics, and crackle. There is a cluster of twelve mild clicks at the beginning of Lonesome For A Letter. The vocals on The Fool sound like they were recorded hot, so there is some distortion at times. The music still comes through strong. The labels are solid with a few stains and paper loss spots, some scratches and scuffs, grime, a small circle impression that looks like the barest beginning of a cut out mark, and mild overall wear. The labels and the record grooves were pressed off-center but this does not affect play. Found in an old generic sleeve, so a new plain white generic paper sleeve will be provided.
