Description

A hifi work out for sure!!!! Selected for light use and PURITY.
An original 1st issue on UK CBS from 1971. Matrix A3/B2. Well worth trying to find a 'day 1 copy' if you can...but basically anything from the chart period is near-master. The question then is how well has it been looked after - super light use? Because I'd argue these clean near-master copies can do a better job on audio reproduction than MOFI remasters from 30 years later. The vinyl and comes housed in an original cover with the reddish brown tint. Would be of interest looking for a super-hifi work out.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and clearly has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Now, you can certainly go out and purchase a half-speed master, or an Mfsl reissue. But just bear in mind you'll probably pay more than we are asking for on this copy. And I wouldn't mind betting this copy will still likely run it into second place! Hardly any background even into the fussy slow builds. Intro to Black Magic Woman...sends shivers! A consistently great playing copy. Stunning low level detail incredible resolver. Just faintest presence perhaps detectable in one very brief moment per side. Otherwise fab.
Cover (Vg+) The front and rear are nice and clean and flat with only minor sign of handling. Perhaps slight light fade. Nice firm openings and the spine is 95% good with all text legible fully legible. Some edge wear in places not too bad though. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. I have to say it is looking well tidy!
