Description
Up for auction is a beautiful condition Santana 'Abraxas' Mobile Fidelity MFSL MoFi UltraDisc One Step 2x12" 45 RPM 180g, limited edition serial #1438 of 2500. This is the very first release from MFSL's premium pressing series using their One Step process, catalog #U1DS 2-001 released in 2016. Abraxas, originally released in 1970, has become a legendary album from Santana. This One Step pressing is recognized as one of the finest sounding versions of the Abraxas album. Vinyl condition is NM and completely play-tested with just a handful of minor pops across the four sides - which is excellent for these pre-'Super Vinyl' earlier One Steps. Cover and inner sleeves are VG+ with some very minor and barely noticeable corner and edge marks. I've included pics of all four corners and sides. All original inserts included, along with the original shrink wrap with One Step hype sticker which has been folded and kept in the box. The inserts include the MoFi album cover, framable cover artwork, contact card for the artist, One Step process description, plus the three-layer sleeves for each of the two records. All-in-all a great player version of this Abraxas One Step!
This record will be extremely carefully wrapped and boxed, with records placed in the rice paper sleeves but outside of the cardboard sleeves to avoid seam splits. Record will be shipped insured in the US via Fedex Ground, shipping cost of $10.00 for the lower 48 US states, any additional shipping costs to other destinations to be determined at end of auction.
