Satanic Mass Anton Szandor Lavey LP Vinyl Original Promotional Copy. Condition is Used.

This a super rare item in reasonable condition considering its age and scarcity. The disc still plays very well so if you're bidding to own a copy of this for listening pleasure, this should be good for you. It also has the original, genuine Murgenstrum stamp on it as it was sent out as a promotional item, which makes it a particularly unusual edition to have on your shelf.

Please also note this was the very first Murgenstrum pressing that, in the bio, erroneously lists LaVey as a "physical researcher" (you can see this on the photo). Second pressings and beyond corrected this to "psychical".

However, be aware that there are some aesthetic deficiencies that may cause you issues. I draw your attention to the fact that the front sleeve is somewhat scuffed. Someone has written "Simmons" quite faintly in pen on the top right corner (Gene? Is that you?). The corners of the sleeve are quite worn and dented and the high rib is damaged. Most of the issues here are on the spine, which is quite nibbled. However, the sleeve is still in one piece and all the print on the front and back is perfectly readable. Most of this damage (besides the work of "Simmons") is due to aging.

I think whether you'll be happy with the condition depends on your reasons for wanting to buy the disc - if you're a collector of mint condition goods only, I would look elsewhere. However, this is an original copy from 1968 (50+ years ago!) and has travelled all over the world. If you want to own this rare magickal release, bid away.
