Advance Promotional First Pressing RSO RS-2-4001
- This is a rare, advance promotional pressing of Saturday Night Fever that was used to produce radio station advertising for the album's availability at retail
- Mastered by Capitol Records, at Columbia Records' Pitman, New Jersey, pressing plant
- Cover for each of two, individual discs is generic, white cover stock with hand-written notes attributing records as Saturday Night Fever and Bee Gees (as shown) - both records have generic, "Advance Promotional" labels with no track listings (as shown)
- Vinyl runouts: RS-2-4001 AS Wally Mastered by Capitol; RS-2-4001 BS Wally; RS-2-4001 CS CPI Wally Mastered by Capitol; RS-2-4001 DS CP Wally Mastered by Capitol
- Discs played minimally with some sleeve marks and 1 or 2 hairline scratches, but sound great; covers show some wear from age, one cover showing 1" split on lower right

- Saturday Night Fever is the soundtrack album from the 1977 film Saturday Night Fever starring John Travolta. It remains the best selling soundtrack of all time with over 45 million units sold. In the United States, the album was certified 16× Platinum for shipments of at least 16 million units. [1] The album stayed atop the album charts for 24 straight weeks from January to July 1978 and stayed on Billboard's album charts for 120 weeks until March 1980. In the UK, the album spent 18 consecutive weeks at No. 1. The album epitomized the disco phenomenon on both sides of the Atlantic and was an international sensation.[2] The album has been added to the National Recording Registry in the Library of Congress for being culturally significant.[3]
