Description
Savoy Brown ' Blue Matter' LP Decca stereo 1969 UK
This LP features the famous track ' Train to Nowhere'.
Condition
The outer sleeve has laminated front,sides and card back. The front is good with no creases, tears, label sticker markings.
The sides are browned and at the top, sellotape 9" /230mm long has been used to secure top fold . An expert may be able to repair this edge so that the sellotape is no longer required. Each edge does reflect storage/use but the corners are not damaged or torn. brown card is only visible to under 2mm from each corner.
The spine is intact and lettering is clear.
The original blue (signifying stereo) inner is included. I include a newer inner better suited to protecting the vinyl.
The vinyl does have superficial surface markings evident on both sides but still looks very good to the naked eye. Both sides play well (on my Rega Planar 3 deck with AT cartridge) and is without distraction or disturbing knicks and clicks.
Overall, whilst not a mint or excellent copy, I would still rate this as a copy that can be played with satisfaction on any reasonable turntable.
