Description

I do not sell copies or bootleg material.

For a 1970 First Press this is a good collector's item. The LP is in Near Mint condition with no visible marks or scuffs, light spindle wear, and excellent labels and silver print with no writing or stuck on labels. It plays really well on my Linn, Naim Nait and Reference Speakers. The inner sleeve still exists but has the band's name written on it. I will include it but have replaced it with a polythene anti-static inner. The outer Gatefold sleeve does have some edge wear but is free of other labels, writing, tears or ring-wear. The sleeve has some slight fading on the front but the back is clean. Inside the gatefold there is some light mottling but possibly expected in a 50 year old album. (See my detailed photographs).
I send in good record cardboard cases with reinforcement and pack the disc separate to covers and inserts..I use tracked signed for postage. I include an outer plastic sleeve for storage.

Review:

This was my first introduction to the blues, the British Blues. I flirted with Cream's Disraeli Gears, and pretended that I liked the pure black blues, but with this album, being played every day during lunch hour at my high school, began a romance. There is not a bad track on it!

Powerful Guitar with exceptional bass, & great drumming..This is one of Savoy Brown's best album. Great jams!! And one of the best album covers ever!! This is a must for any Savoy Brown fan..The songs are well written with some great lead guitar and produced well. This is one of my all time best albums!! Lonesome Dave's vocals are exceptional..Enjoy and "Take It Easy"  What else needs be said? Down to a 4-piece here with Lonesome Dave handling the Vox. Kim shines as usual.
