Description

This is a copy of the Savoy Brown Blues Band "Shake Down" in VG condition.   This is an original Decca Records UK recording.  The covers on these recordings are very thin, so they can be damaged easily.  This album is in VG condition for its type.  There is some very light ringwear and some very minor de-lamination of the thin clear plastic (Clarifoil) that covers the front.  The owners names has been written on the back cover (see photos)  The record is also in VG condition and plays well without any major pops and no skipping.

You are bidding on a used Vinyl 33 RPM LP Record in as-is condition (see condition under item specifics).  I have made every attempt to grade these records fairly and accurately and have purposely underrated them compared to many sellers.  The picture is of the actual cover.  All LP’s are shipped in a specially designed record shipping pack and the record is shipped outside the cover to prevent damage during shipping.

Records are graded using the following criteria:

Mint (M)-New and still sealed or absolutely perfect in every way.  Virtually none of the records listed here will qualify for M as they are used records.  Most collectors agree that M records are very rare, and any defects or wear whatsoever disqualifies them from this rating.  Beware of anyone selling records listed as mint on Ebay.

Near Mint (NM)-Described as looking like it just came from the record store and was opened for the first time, or nearly perfect.  Once again, very few of the records listed here will qualify for NM as they are used records.  Most collectors agree that NM records are rare, and anything but insignificant defects or wear disqualifies them from this rating.

Very Good + (VG+)-This is a record that except for a few minor things would be rated NM.  Although the record may show a few signs of wear it will play without defects that will affect the listening experience.  Records in exceptional condition will be placed at the high end of the rating indicated by additional + marks.

Very Good (VG)-Records that qualify for VG will have some obvious signs of wear and imperfections, and some surface noise or light scratches may be audible but will not dramatically affect the listening experience.

Good Plus (G+)-These records will be in good playable condition and will play without major skipping or surface noise.  G+ records are a good choice for someone who wishes to add to their collection without paying the price for a VG or VG+ record.  I have ripped many G+ records onto CD and have been satisfied with the results.

Good (G)- Records listed as good will still play well, but will show more obvious signs of wear and will have some audible surface noise and the occasional light skip and will be priced accordingly.

Fair (F)- Records in fair condition will only be sold in lots of 3 or 4 and will be listed as such.  These records are suitable for the casual listener and are not considered collectible.  None of the records listed here will be in unplayable condition or contain major defects rendering them useless.

Very Good + (VG+)-This is a cover that except for a few minor things would be rated NM.  Although the cover may show a few signs of wear it will be substantially without defects or damage including ring marks.  Covers in exceptional condition will be placed at the high end of the rating indicated by additional + marks.

Very Good (VG)-Covers that qualify for VG will have some obvious signs of wear and imperfections including ring marks but will still be in substantially undamaged condition.

Good Plus (G+)-Many of the covers sold here will be listed as G+.  These covers will have more obvious signs of wear including ring marks, wear to the spine and seams.  G+ covers are a good choice for someone who wishes to add to their collection without paying the price for a VG or VG+ cover.

Good (G)- Covers listed will show more obvious signs of wear and will have some clearly visible defects including heavier ring marks, wear to the spine and seams and minor tears or cut-outs.

Fair (F)- Covers and Records in fair condition will only be sold in lots of 3 or 4 and will be listed as such.  These are suitable for the casual listener only and are not considered collectible.  None of the records listed here will be in unplayable condition or contain major defects rendering them useless.
