Scarce Depression Era 78rpm - early Ethel Merman  Victor 24146 "I'll Follow You" / "How Deep Is The Ocean"

From Merman's First commercial recording session... (she earlier made a couple of tests)
Apparently Victor wasn't sure what to do with her, so they recorded 2 ballad type selections (these) and 2 "hotter" rhythm numbers that are listed separately among My Other Items. Recorded in September, 1932, just a couple of months before she went over to Brunswick (so little effort to advertise these).
