Up for auction is a very scarce 45 by Buddy Holly and the Three Tunes on Decca label # 30650.I guarantee this to be a first pressing.Lists for $200.00 to $300.00 dollars in the record price guide by Jerry Osborne.This is the scarcer version of the 45 with the lines on both sides of the Decca logo on label see picture.The easier to find version has the Decca logo with the star underneath it.That one lists for less than half of what this lists for.Buddy Holly records are extremely hard to find on Decca as it was his very first label he recorded on.And these were recorded before the famous Crickets as his backup band was the Three Tunes instead.He never had a large hit on Decca so not many were sold making them very scarce.This one has the song Ting-A-Ling on one side and Girl On My Mind on the other side.Record has been played as it has several scratches on both sides which are mostly light but quite afew can be felt with fingernail.There is also one scratch on The Girl On My Mind side that causes an audible pop most if the way through the song.Has a couple of scuff marks also.Comes with an old Decca label paper sleeve.If the buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund policy on all records I sell.Buyer to pay $3.00 shipping anywhere in the U.S.Please add $1.00 if insurance is desired.
