Long gone & rare too...European 2ndpress of the 1971 USA MONSTER heavy psych artifact ...this scarce pressing is from well over 20 years and was literally in & out of print seemingly overnight. Haven't seen (this pressing) for...years.
The 4-piece MYSTIC SIVA were from Detroit and created one of the most wanted artifacts in the psychedelic collectors scene. The music was recorded in 1970. With an average age of 17 those "teenage Sivas" showed best quality in songwriting playing their instruments and creating an own sound.
All told it is an awesome USA hard psychedelic rocker and considered a masterpiece: Spooky go-go organ dominating every part of the album, acidy guitar lashes, strong powerful vocals. Listen to anthems like 'Keeper Of The Keys', 'Find Out Why' and 'In My Room' and you'll be blown away by the passion of this band !
The talent in Mystic Siva is filled with outstanding instrumentation, their own sound which is driven by aggressive and heavy screaming fuzz/wah-wah lead guitars, Hammond B 3 organ and Doors influenced vocals (spaced-out lyrics) are the winning results...
